From someone who has demo'd and repoured plenty of concrete the easy part is pouring the new stuff. Lots of money and time goes into concrete demo. Jackhammer is all up, use a skidster(not a cheap piece of machinery) to load it into a dump truck(not cheap) drive it to a dump where you also have to pay to get rid of it. Fuel for all of these machines, insurance on them, paying a guy to operate each one, insurance on each guy, paying each guy, not to mention the cost of the machine and wear and tear on the machines too. Oh and then there is licensing costs on the dump truck, commercial drivers license cost. So yeah it should be free to do all this. Come on people! Concrete itself usually costs somewhere around $95 a yard, double that for the labor and double those two again for the demo. You'll probably be close to 10k.
