Sorry, For some reason i couldnt let it slide, Obviously if your here you know that "Income Comparisons" arent the Norm, As a matter of fact this is the first time i think ive ever see anyone try to prove they where better than someone based off "Median" Income.

I wasnt raised to to think that a Persons Income is a Measure of them as a Human Being, I dont treat people that way so please dont take my Response to DFW as such. Id like to say, of the 20 or so GJ members ive met in person they would vouch for my character, Not to mention the 100's of Members ive conversed with over the phone trying to help them get there Hydraulic problems fixed.

Back to the lathe.....It's not a 6". I fairly certain it's a 9". I bought one earlier this year from a guy. The number on the end of mine is 101.21400. You can still get anything for them that you need. On the cross slide, if the handle is not broke consider yourself lucky. Almost everyone I have seen has the handle broke. I ended up buying another complete compound with a good handle only to have it arrive broken. I don't think the seller screwed me over, but it may have been damaged in shipment. I'll just make another one. To buy one, you're looking at over $100. Just for a small handle.

Anyways, nice score on items. You may want to check out the Little machine Shop for any lathe accessories that you may need for it.

I go to harbor freight a lot. You guys may be surprised to know that the snap on and hf tools in my boxes don't argue with each other. Hell, the wright and proto don't make a sound, either.

Tools are tools. Buy what makes the most financial sense to you. Now go fix/build something.
