In my in-progress garage (Garage Build) the concrete was laid down approximately 6 months ago. I believe the guy also did a very thin coat of concrete sealant on the top. Since then, when I was doing all my drywall work, the drywall dust got ground into the floor very thoroughly from walking around. Also, a couple joint compound spills, a couple paint drips, and two roughly .25sqft oil spills from bike maintenance are there. You can see it in the pictures in my build thread.
Today I used a garage floor cleaner/degreaser that I picked up at HD, I think it was called greaserid or something like that. I mixed it 5 times as strong as the bottle said, mopped it on, then used a brush on my hands and knees to scrub the floor. Then I used damp rags to wipe up. Now that the floor is mostly dry, all the aforementioned blemishes remain.
Is there anything easy I can do to clean this floor up?
I plan to do an epoxy floor in there as soon as I can (probably the fall) but right now I don't have the time or money. I'd just like my brand new garage to look great, and all of it DOES except for the damn floor. Any ideas?
