Ha. If there is better work ethic than what Dubbers shows, then show me the way!
Congrats on what you have completed.

Dub, congrats 2x for your new dark red font and for Ryan's forthcoming new set of Gearwrenches, buddy!

It's a great blank canvas to make your own... Congrats on the elbow room!
any updates to the theater build? curious to see!

Nice job on using two buckets. Is that a Gilmore foam gun lying there?
You will enjoy having all that space to work.
Made some significant progress today. Painted the entire garage with its first coat, which included the stairs. I'm also half way done painting the cement footer as well. I'm hoping to be able to finish both tomorrow. I'll get some pics loaded up in the next day or so. Just relaxing with a Corona now![]()
Ever since i really got into garages and creating a space of my own i've wanted a solid workbench. Well i think i've finally realized that vision. I've only ever had a work surface in the past as space was always at a premium. I've been doing a ton of research and playing with sizing and specs for several months and i finally closed on one last night as it was $50 off.

Its a really solid piece and being around $80 cheaper then the Gladiator one that i was also eyeing made it the right one. My plan was to have my little craftsman chest roll under it, and to my surprise the actual metal surface is identical. I'll post a better quality pic later but these will have to do for now.
Just playing around with the placement....

The hose bib presented a little hiccup in my vision as it was originally where i had wanted a tool box but i think having my table there with the open portion for my stool will make it perfectly functional for my needs.
And this side shows you the current bane of my existence.

Looking forward to seeing photos of your paint work. Definitely an integral step to making a place look finished.
Dub, That bench looks just like the Seville HD version I have in my garage. I have two of them in my garage. Great bench! The garage is going to be great......
Awesome show on that I've been waiting to watch for a few days. "Mike's Ultimate Garage" on HGTV. Mike Holmes had his son Mike Jr. complete his dream garage. Pretty epic thus far.
Just finished watching the show. I don't know, that was a pretty big building for a narrow tandem with two lifts. Amazing building, but he's going to be cursing himself for the way it was laid out. IMHO.
Looks wicked thus far! I'm amped to see full garage shots.
I saw a picture with your jack in your other thread and I had a few questions :
Is it a Torin?
How do you like it so far?
Where did you bought it?
Nice progress so far btw![]()
Dubbed,
NOT a criticism but why paint the gas line and that box black? It draws attention to them instead of making them recede from the eye like matching the wall color would?
I'm toying with some ideas![]()
I do agree that many times a picture doesn't show the full aspect of a garage. It can't show eye sores or issues like it can in person although we try.

I haven't looked for them in a loong time but you used to be able to go to an art supply store and buy rub on transfer letters in various sizes from tiny to pretty large and at least in black and white. White ones could be used to label it "CAUTION - Gas Line"
But nowadays with all the various gadgets you could probably do more or less the same thing with a Brother P-Touch labeler.
hahaha, no date as of now. The door changes will likely eat away at my immediate fun spending. TBD at this point, but it is in the cards.
Just pushing your buttons...Great work! I check this thread for updates about 20 times a day. I love how clean and organized everything looks. I am thinking of starting my own build thread, and posting pictures, just so you can comment and help me get organized. Keep up the good work!

Oh man that looks great! Cant wait to get started on my garage.
Ps. what suspension do you have on your 2004.5?
Thanks dude. You should definitely start up a thread once your project is under way. I'm static, sitting on ST coils right now. Love that dumped Q you posted in Rick's thread btw.
