Nice additions, I like the slide out shelf.
Nixe cabinets! I have the floor models that match those. I really like the quality over the craftsman. I have craftsman over my bench. Good pickup!

I like that cabinet, I need something like that for all my detailing stuff.
Nice coordinated look to your workbench area now.

looks good
You have a really nicely put together work area there! I'd be inclined to copy it if I wasn't dreaming of a steve-o style dual HF44 cabinet bench... I'll be a while saving for that one though, especially after heating my shop over this winter.
Dubber I found that same Husky base cabinet at my local HD about a year ago . I love it (it was a display model with a dinged up door and the price was very good) I have the slide out draw loaded down and no issues at all. I'm really thinking of the wall cabinets for my new build. BTW that "VW Racing" banner where did you get that I have asked all my dealer friends
When your tired of it send it to me![]()
I am predicting your next thread title dub based on what I've seen added to your garage: "Dubber's Triple"![]()
Since he dubbled from the last one, it should be Dubber's Sixer

Nice looking cabinets dubber! I can't believe you're braving the cold.. I've given up until spring, although with today's weather and what seems to be coming next week, that may be soon!
I put the space heater on for a bit and put on a big sweatshirt and it works out i guess quite well.
looks great!!! so clean!
Hey dubber, thanks for the index in the first post. Saved me time this morning when I was trying to remind myself what sealer you used!
Dubber, are you back on summer tires now? I was going to switch, but I heard a call for more snow this weekend and we're making a drive out your way to visit my parents.

Edit: PS the new wheels look great.
It's nice to finally be able to put all of that to use! Have you considered getting torque sticks for your impact for putting the lugs back on? I've been toying with the idea, but I'm still not sure if I can justify it.
On this car the "summer's" are actually all season tires. Its only supposed to snow less than a cm though from what i've seen. If we get a dump i'll just swap them back. I was very eager to see these actually on the car and to try out the tools.
and thanks!
I just picked up a torque wrench recently (finally) so i will just be using that for awhile. Funny i had actually never heard of torque sticks before. I googled it and the second thread that came up for me was Garage Journal![]()

Man dubber, this place is really taking shape. It looks fantastic. I like the new cabinet.
Nice pick up on the saw.
Whatcha cuttin'?
Looks like you're getting a nice repertoire of tools there! I use my Makita SCMS constantly! I wish I had the room in my garage to make a dedicated bench for it with a full length fence, ruled stops and hold downs... maybe one day!
Did you end up getting a stand with it?
Dubber...big fan on your organization skills and garages! Read both your threads a couple of times...
Quick question on the miter saw...do you plan on storing it in the garage? If so, where? Or do you have space in the basement/attic? I ask because I also own a 10-inch duel bevel sliding miter and no matter how much I try to keep it out of the way...its always in the way!
My garage by no means is a wood working shop, more of a 2 car space for well...2 cars...so just curious. Thanks!

Nice additions! Those rims look great.
