My Vx tuning 25th anniversary euro headlights arrived yesterday while i was at work. Attacked those as soon as i got home, as i always look forward to hanging out in the garage.

Also took the opportunity to put in my new OEM VW emblem and OEM R32 badge. Front end is looking very fresh right now, super happy. The lower bumper grilles were also sprayed black while at the body shop. Made a noticeable improvement.

Really appreciating having a shed to store extra items. I have a few bins with the amassed extra parts at this point and its only going to get worse :)

Are those headlights Euro Spec for left hand drive vehicles so the timing can be correct?

Yup.

Loving the wiper delete. Looks SOOOOO much cleaner.
The cleanliness of the wires you cleaned up in the engine bay really did a lot. Nice work.

The headlights are a nice addition as well.

Nice H-codes, what bulbs do they use H7 or HID?

Went with just the H7 bulbs.

Thanks man. Its bothered me since purchase. The hatch design collects a lot of dust on the rear window and the wiper keeps it all hahaha. Also I drive this in weather conditions that necessitate it.

Just finished up reading your thread. Great use of the space you have. Superb job on the attention to detail with the garage and the vehicles. This gives me the idea to incorporate my truck build with my garage build thread, Keep up the great work.

I agree the TV in the garage is a huge bonus. I have mine hooked up to wifi, so internet researching and youtube how-to's are a click away. However when watching music videos, I do seem to get distracted. lol

/\ Thanks man. I have a fun project on my hands right now. A friend has been building a house and has solicited my assistance with Garage design. Fun process to plan out another garage space and figure out the best use of space and design.

And these bad boys are going into the .:R today. Super excited!

Pics of the install? This is where having a clean, organized garage pays off.
Good luck with the strut clamps on the A-arms, (if they're anything like the Mark V) IIRC, a 3/8" drive ratchet extension with split the socket if you don't have the OEM tool.

Nice coil choice, and not surprising. Your house is not a raceland house. ;)

:) Thanks for the compliment. Couldn't do that to the ride.

Yups, that is a nice set of dampers!!

Let us know how they feel. :)

Thanks man. Love them thus far. Not a ton of seat time yet though. The R32 does come stock with stiff and lower suspension than the GTI/Golf so that aspect isn't all that different on this car. But it does feel fresh and more responsive.

This is pre-Bilsteins but the pic turned out well I think. Went for a little cruise to pick up some new spacers for the back and ended up finding a cool spot for a photo in front of the Canadian War Museum en route home. This really helps to show the new fresh front end. I'm very happy with the OEM+ look thus far. Photo also shows the Seat Cupra R front spoiler i added last week.

Love the .:R !!

My friend had the same color .:R32 with tint and Cupra lip. Awesome cars. I still wish I had been in a position to buy it from him when he sold it. I had an OEM+ 1.8T GTI and this would have been a natural upgrade at the time.

Keep us updated on all the subtle mods and improvements.

Last week we picked up a new couch and the halfway point between the truck and the basement turned out to be a great place to chill and admire the view :)

A buddy was returning his Lexus IS 250 AWD for an upgrade i was quite excited about and a little biased i will have to admit, Audi S3. Tackled the return prep for him. Very happy with the results for a 4 year old car that gets driven all year and doesn't get a lot of love hahaha.

And last night i put in a little shop time swapping some wheels. I'm getting the Aristos refinished to a nice fresh OEM look that will now match the rest of the car. A buddy stopped by for a visit and luckily for me ended up being my first experience going through the gears of a VR Corrado.

The temporary wheels don't look too bad. My second set of Long Beach wheels.

Had a buddy over last night trying on some spacers for his new ride. Also showing him and giving him some experience with necessary wheel swap tools to outfit his new garage. My garage really excelled showing how useful and practical the set-up currently is.

Also had a fun weekend in Montreal at Eurokracy with a bunch of friends. Solid weekend filled with amazing rides and good times with buddies. First year with the two day format and it was definitely well received, and freakin hot!

The R is looking very clean. Loving that look!

The lack of a rear wiper caps it all off!

Thanks guys. First day home from enjoying a week in Victoria and Tofino. Enjoyed a little trip for groceries in the .:R

Check out this UBER sweet ride i spotted in Tofino a few days ago.

And Denwood, this one is for you. Went camping with pops on the beach. Man the Westy is handy.

As long as said drinks involved spirits and/or craft beer, of course!

You're a good man, Dubber!
