Lately I've been spending a lot of time helping a friend with the creation of his garage. His place is a new custom build and its been fun being an unofficial garage consultant. I guess since i'm always talking about garages, friends and family members have really started to pick my brain. Even my dentist the other day while i was in getting a cleaning
His garage layout presented an interesting challenge with an awesome bump-out. Originally he had wanted to put all pieces at the back of the wall but after some reasoning he saw my vision of getting a system that would fit perfectly in the little bump-out, and i mean perfectly. They look custom in that spot.
This was my first experience using Pro-slat pieces. I have to say they are excellent quality at a great price point. Purchased through Costco, and at $1800 before tax with delivery included they were a steal for 6 pieces. We did have to get them to move the central vac piping out about a meter to allow the cabinets to fit in properly, but it was worth it.
Floor has been epoxied and we put a Liftmaster 8500 opener in. At this point we only have some wall organization and misc decoration pieces left.
Rick- I'm sure you will be a fan of this garage
