Well in case you missed my new thread (dubber's triple v3.0) we have sold current our home which obviously includes dubber's double. Sad in on respect as many memories and friends were forged here, but exciting in another as a new challenge awaits. It was fun hearing and seeing comments about our prospective buyers looking at the garage space. So clean you could eat off was one that stuck out. Other notables were; "OMG", "Holy cow" and "wow".

Photos from our listing:

The sad process of taking things down has begun. The deal we ended up signing didn't contain any negotiations for our exclusions which basically pertained to Garage cabinetry, shelving and flooring.

End of an era..... The new garage is going to be worth it.

Thanks! Yes i agree. Hard to walk away from a completed space, but i now have room to grow!

Wow, big news -- congrats! I did miss the new thread so thanks for posting about it here. Will be sure to follow along.

Not a problem. Appreciate the interest!

Dubber's TRIPLE upcoming? Huh? Huh?

"Enquiring minds (nosy guys) want to know!"

Check it out!

I'll have to post updated pics from my complete disassembly. Basically the only thing staying will be the lights, garage door opener, TV and may leave one slat wall for the new owner.

Upper cabinets have been removed, and thus far half of the Husky Trackwall panels are now off. :(

That was a killer garage, no wonder it sold so easily.

I have the same concept when it comes to my place. If I ever to sell, I just gonna clean the garage wall to wall and list it. Tools and beer fridge not included. Tool boxes to be negotiable.

No doubt in my mind the triple will blow away the double.

Thanks.... yea feedback was certainly favorable. Very interesting to see how markets swing. Last time we sold a home it was a Buyer's Market. This time with a Seller's market it took no time and ended up being very profitable.

Well the old space is looking quite sparse.....

  • All wall mounted items removed and clean-up is now done.
  • Paint touch-ups complete
  • Husky cabinets and Workbench have all been sold and picked up
  • RaceDeck tiles all bunched up and ready to move

Good luck for the move, Dubber. Nice to be able to take your floor with you. Can't really do that with epoxy!

Thanks Rick! Not fun living amongst all the boxes, however the anticipation is palpable. Quite the amazing feature being about to bring the floor with me. Thankfully it saved me mucho dinero on my next order. 🤘🏼

Wow! It actually looks a lot smaller in there without any of your stuff set up. Funny how that works. Must have been bittersweet for sure seeing that. At least you'll have a big jump on materials if you decide to put Race Deck down in your new space.

Hey dubber,

My first time on GJ in a while and I'm shocked to see this! But, happy for you at the same time that you're stretching out and growing into something bigger. I enjoyed following this thread and it certainly served as inspiration and motivation to me and many others. I look forward to following your V3 thread!
