Been lurking on your thread for a while. Love your garage, car and organization!
Thanks for the info on the magnetic towel holder!!
I haven't snapped a pic of mine but i picked up one of these last week. Its a black magnetic paper towel roll holder.
For my fellow Canadians i got mine at Canadian Tire, made by Mastercraft for $14.99!!!
Nice even better! I would have seriously been pissed if i had went with the Griots one originally.

For the Canucks out there, Princess Auto has the paper towel holders for $7.99.....and they go on sale from time to time!!

Ok, so I just went through your ENTIRE thread.. and wow what a journey!Great job! Your garage kind of reminds me of a garage a buddy of mine had. He was a VW guy too, that started doing car show's with his car, and then got into detailing and car restoration, which of course turned into a career. His work garage was very useful of space in every corner, and details were NOT skipped. GREAT job on your garage, you are another person from GJ that has inspired me. I'm a little embarrassed to post pics of my mess at this point. But hey, we all have to start somewhere right?
Oh and I see you decided to not put the sticker on the garage door..![]()
Kyle, post em up, start you're own thread thats what "before" pictures are man!!

Hey, that came out nice and clean, you use a hacksaw? Because I'm impressed how straight and clean they look. You must've really taken your time, because if I took a hacksaw to them they would've never looked that good, there's a reason it's called a 'hack' saw. Nice job!
Thanks dude, yes i did it carefully and pretty slow, then did a little polishing of the ends. Its quite the arm workout for sure, at least i had 'Con Air' playing on the TV to give my arm a breather between rounds. Glad i went with the hack saw approach, which i think you suggested.
Glad it worked out. Nice job on polishing the ends, details matter.the little things really do help don't they!
Dubber,
Just a curiosity question: where the tool box has been sitting in the same spot for awhile (and I assume loaded with tools?) has it resulted in little depressions or divots in the Racedeck where the casters rest?

I can chime in on this one. I've never seen divots from heavy items resting atop FreeFlow tiles. I have seen a nick here or there on my tiles, but that's more a result of me moving heavier items around.
1 hour of work killed by going over this thread. Thank you for taking the time to post everything.
Cool, but I can see extended rails![]()
Good eye! Bonus internet points for you!
Yes that was a pic taken pre last nights monumental change hehehe.
Its funny now that i look at it, at that angle the rails would have only been marginally noticeable.
I expect nothing less![]()
Hahha good stuff. Did you hear John Malcovich was in Toronto this past week and helped save someone's life? That clicked when i saw the movie was on so i watched the rest.
