Another major milestone has been reached, and arguably the most exciting.

Spent Sunday installing my new RaceDeck FreeFlow design with the help of a good friend. New design allowed me to amalgamate my tile inventory from dubber's double and expand with the new selection. Final detail cuts were finished last night. Ordered these tiles on Black Friday prior to actually living here so its been quite the wait for me

Yea this was my first time using that type of design and thus far i like it. Also needed to account for the existing tiles i had while incorporating a fresh look.

To be honest, the "look" transforms the space more than anything else. The "style" is very complimentary to snow melting through and wicking water for interior car detailing. The "function" allows the space to become more in the house compared to an outside nice garage.

Oh, wow! Very nice. So much progress in little time.

Being super motivated has certainly fast tracked my timeline.

Love it! The race deck design works really well.

It was fun as my wife was a large contributor to the design, fun using their online design tool.

Very nice, looks great! Wish I could do something like that but we live on a dirt road with a long dirt driveway so my garage without constant attention becomes a dirt pit. It appears all these modular flooring products have too much "texture" and would make my dirt issue worse and harder to clean. Especially when I rains and the trucks come in literally dripping mud.

Are they textured or are they smooth and broom and washable?

Yea for your application it likely wouldn't be the best product. They are textured. Surface can be easily moped and vacuumed.

Thanks man. Definitely use the colour. I obviously really like it. Thankfully I had my other thread to reference the actual name to be able to reorder. The black touch is one of my favorites. Dual purpose of helping to seal the area (in addition to the floor sealant also applied) and cleans up the space while also allowing a visual continuation of the flooring.

One of the items I had been the most excited about was finally setting up my New Age bold cabinets. I have to say I was happy with the quality of these. I ended up scoring these for a great price from my local Costco which is always a bonus when shipping gets included. Bang for buck I would have been hard pressed to find a competitor, and I tried, priced out buying individual new Husky pieces from Home Depot and the numbers didn't make sense. I was a little hesitant initially after selling all my old Husky pieces, but once I had time working with these my hesitation faded. These provide several options for install which I enjoyed. I opted to not mount the bamboo top, and only mount the uppers to each other and the two exterior locker cabinets. The fact that I’m only using the three uppers for microfibres sealed the deal.

Took the longest to just ensure they were level and mounting them to each other is a challenge with one person. Doable but a challenge.

Recommend them for sure. Interesting as Costco definitely is able to leverage their buying power and pass on those savings. You can source this package at a number of retailers but the prices are all higher. Also benefited from their price honoring as a couple days after purchase they dropped $300 on a cyber monday sale.

My wife and a few others have also made that comment.... Would love to explore the possibility. I have been enjoying being a consultant on a variety of projects belonging to friends and family.

Finally decided this would be the spot for the compressor and mounted the reel above after reinforcing with an extra piece of wood. I'll be adding a 20 amp plug there to power the unit.

Found a home and mounted my brush hanging solution. The area to the left is also coming together well. This one has really morphed since my original plan, but i'm liking the natural progression. Very functional and in my opinion still looks great.

That's freakin sweet, dude. I am trying to avoid that level of detail and just get insulated and organized but it's tempting to have it look so nice. I did not think about the fact that the RaceDeck flooring can come with you to the next house whereas painting/coating the floor is permanent.

To be honest its one of the top reasons i have continued to use their product. Beyond the look, function and cool factor hahaha. Being able to take the flooring from my last garage likely saved me near $2,000

The amazing by-product of the current real estate market here right now. The seller has all the leverage. When I sold "dubber's single" we only had one solid offer and he really wanted the garage as is, which meant we left it as such. As for "dubber's double", we had a sense of the possibility of multiple offers (ended up being seven) and as such we listed flooring and all cabinetry as exclusions.

Installed and organized a couple of my Husky Track wall panel sections. Current plan is to have five around the perimeter but like anything the plan is always evolving. Current organization layout also shown.

Yea i agree, the colour is perfect for the space. Not the exact colour but it is pretty close. Nice and clean
