Glad to see you're back to posting, but I have to ask, you're not getting rid of the GSW, are you? I absolutely love those red seat belts! I've been seriously thinking about some in red for my TDI wagon... along with a set of 18" Durbans if I can find some for a decent price.Definitely jonzing to get out there. Recently swapped to red seat belts and i can't wait. Ordering a new daily as well, and had to add red belts to that order

Thanks man! Unfortunately based on need, we will be offloading the GSW. No qualms with this car and i think the longest tenant in my garages. And with these 18" Audi A4 wheels it looks amazing.
We've ordered a 2022 Macan S in Chalk, and doing a bucket list Euro Delivery which i'm super excited about. ..
And the recent addition of the belts led me to tweak my order and add these hahaha.

@jbrentd, those towel racks caught my eye as well. Unfortunately, Louis (Dubber) and I bought those from Ikea back in 2015 and it appears they are no longer available. Love the wall reorg. Your garage is always so clean and well organized.
On a random detail question, I notice you have 8 foam guns/cannons if I counted correctly. Any you particularly like/dislike? any particular soaps that work well with them? Our 'new' 74 Fiat Spider has really soft paint, so I'm interested in trying foam cannon for the extra foam/lubrication vs buckets only.

You my friend have good eyes lol...So yes i can see 8 in the pics, had to go recount lol... They each have or had their purpose.
On this wall:
-2 old IK sprayers. Decent
-1 new IK sprayer, which was great, but now the release is stuck and doesn't stop spraying, very common. No bueno
-1 Tornador, awesome for cleaning interiors. Recommended
-1 Chemical Guys, garden hose foam spray gun. Decent.
On this wall:
-1 Foam canister that came with an old pressure washer. Only keep P&S Brake Buster in it.
-1 MTM Original Foam Cannon. Recommended. Only keep OG Decontamination soap in it.
-1 MTM PF22.2 Foam cannon. Recommended. Only use it for Car Shampoo
With Soft paint, the more dirt and grit you can get off prior to a contact wash the better. I would recommend before washing, spray foam the car with Obsessed Garage Decontamination Soap or CarPro Lift. Let dwell, then pressure rinse off, then spray foam with shampoo and two bucket wash.

If I'm honest, I've always enjoyed watching detailing and seeing all the intricacies of it, but rarely even take the time to clean my daily. Maybe that's because I pass a large compost/mulch processing facility every day on the way to work and the roads are always dirty.
The MTM PF22.2 is looking like the way to go. I've seen it before as that seems to be the preferred model of Larry from AMMO NYC, but didn't know the name, just the shape. A little spendy, but not horrible. Big question is should I buy extra bottles and swap since mine won't be seeing huge use, or buy multiple.
Follow up, is that an MTM SGS28 gun on the left wall? How have you liked it? I think I'll initially try and use the long factory PW gun to keep the cost down (aka wife happy), but may upgrade down the line.

Honestly the foam cannon is solid. Had it for over a year and works great!

This is hands down the best foam cannon in the market. The main feature is that it doesn't fall over now. The actual foam cannon hasn't changed in design but the biggest and most requested change is to the bottle. It's been redesigned to sit flat and not fall over when empty.

For Shampoo there are tons of amazing options, and to be honest every brand has a good one. Adam’s is a go to for me, but even just Chemical Guys Honey Dew is great for a foam cannon.

Yes, good eye on the gun, one of my favourite items TBH. Really hated the long guns that come with all basic pressure washer kits.

Since you posted a little reorganization - looks awesome as ever - I wanted to ask, what do you do for a hamper? I assume that your process involves using towels and then letting them dry on the fold-out holder, but do you have a container for holding before wash loads, is it one of the sacks hanging by the window?
Another upgrade to the garage this weekend, and this one has been a long time coming lol... To be honest i had the goal of making this addition as cheap as possible, which meant hording gift cards and since i had finally reached 60% coverage of the expense, i pulled the trigger. I had always accounted for this addition which meant leaving two spaces for the main lifts and the motor. Thanks to Rick (RadGarage) who was kind enough to give me the hangers, sadly two years ago

Nice! I'm sure you'll get a ton of use out of that. I wonder if anyone has used retracting hose reels for the hydraulic leads? That would be super handy, I would think.
Just read through your thread. Awesome garage and super organized! I'm jealous of all the space but I'll take what I have over nothing. It makes me want to get back into detailing my own car but too many competing priorities right now. May steal a few ideas for the car side of my garage some day.
