It was nice to have a three day weekend. I spent Saturday helping a friend build a stand out of stainless steel for an art piece for his wife. That took most of the day so I went to work again on finishing up the priming of the plywood walls. I would like to thank the SOB who decided to put multiple stickers on each sheet of BCX plywood. Actually I am more ticked at myself for not taking the time to remove them when they were laying at ground level on some saw horses, but alas that’s what happens when you get in a rush to get things done.
I still need to come back and do some caulking and touch up painting. on the seams but the south wall is done.
The next part is just for John aka “Casmurbax”.... I finally got the compressor hard wired! I had been operating it on an extension cord for months. I also added an indicator light to the cut off switch so that I could see if it was still on when leaving the shop.
I was also able to hook up temporarily the auto drain until I can get the installation of my “driveshaft” and desiccant filters plumbed into the line activated by the drain.
The last item which made my day was plugging in my openers for the roll up doors and now pressing the remote or just touching the button to raise and lower the doors versus using the chain. I forgot how quiet the pantheon door openers were... i felt like a little kid raising and lowering the doors.
