Some years ago I was at the county transfer station where my cousin works. Inside a dumpster was a small roll away tool box full of tools and he said if I could get it out it was mine. SK,Snap ON and Vice Grip pliers plus numerous other quality tools. This was forgotten till this summer when I saw him in our town. We were sitting on the tailgate of his truck when I noticed 3 large wooden boxes full of various types of tools. He went on to explain that an elderly gentleman was entering the nursing home and his daughter was busy cleaning the garage and brought them to be thrown away as neither her father or herself had time to do otherwise. I have not the time to list what all was in those boxes but he let me dig through them...no he didn't offer to share...and was impressed by the age and quality of those tools. The most unique was a set of German made miniature nut drivers in a leather case where the center handle spins. How anyone could throw away perfectly good tools is beyond me so keep your eyes open people and give those forlorn tools a place to reside and be appreciated !!!!
