outside of the high end, super deluxe custom tools I doubt it. Hand saws don’t make up a big enough market for that kind of attention to detail.So this tool might be a 1950s tool. Do you think they set all the new saws by hand? I'm going to try it on my hand saw tomorrow. Thanks
The ones most people buy these days are not set by hand. But the boutique saw makers, and those that restore grampas’s saw for you will often use a manual saw set. Most guys who sharpen their own will use a manual as well after sharpening..So this tool might be a 1950s tool. Do you think they set all the new saws by hand?
