I just ordered a standard model Quincy QT-54, it comes without a magnetic starter but I plan to add one as soon as it arrives (also installing a Hobbs Meter and auto-drain). I am having some difficulty determining the model number of Eaton mag-starter to order.
The higher-end Quincys come with an Eaton starter installed, and I found a couple on eBay that look like they will work, but no model numbers are listed.
The QT-54 is 5HP, single phase, 230V.
This EATON seems to be precisely what I need. Anyone happen to know the Eaton model number? I spent some time trying to find it on the Eaton site with no luck.
He also carries a Square D that will work, but I'd prefer to go with the Eaton. The enclosure gives me more room for wiring in the meter, the drain control, and a start/stop override switch.
