Getting a little ahead of my self as garage construction hasn't even started but based on the invaluable assistance this board provides I have pretty much decided on one of the following:
Eaton PP05V060I1 or
Quincy 2V41C60VC
Both are 5hp/2 stage/single phase/60gal vertical compressors that probably would suffice no matter what I do.
My principal question is, which one is likely to be quieter?
Of course any other observations/input would be appreciated.
One thing that struck me as odd was the Eaton weighs 600 pounds while the quincy is 460. What would drive this? (oh yeah, and those darned Eaton people even offer a choice of colors as if you didn't have enough decisions to make already - LOL).
