I've done a lot of business with this seller. great person to deal with. will combine shipping on multiple items. problem is: seller lists ALL items at exactly the same time, so you've got to be fast fast fast at the last minute when the bidding closes.

I've bought from Shamata all above before. Top notch seller, easily recommended. Problem is he has quite a following week to week on ebay and usually his stuff goes pretty high. OR, maybe they go high because 4C is raising all the bids on everything good! :)

It would be good if you would expand your findings to include a few more brands too. Sunex is good. Very similarly good is also Grey Pneumatic. VIM is also a good one to list stuff on. Gray Canada is super but hard to find in the states. Some decent foreign brands to also list deals on. And of course Gear Wrench too. GW made in Taiwan especially but even the GW China is better than most other China I've seen. But anything Taiwan is generally better than anything China. I would buy things from Taiwan as easily as say Canada, because both are democracies, even if one of those really has half the population that wants to succede from their union and their government won't let them! They also have very odd loyalty to a foreign Queen and dynasty a long way away and more than a bit outdated and think they are still a loyal colony (and like Hocky a LOT of all things)! - Paul

problem there, paul, is that a lot of the Sunex and Vim stuff I see listed on Ebay is as high (if not higher) than what a guy can get it for new from Amazon or Tooltopia (or any number of other online sellers.)

Saw a crazy deal on Excelta 7182E Medium Angulated Head Cutters on eBay. These things normally go for around $105-$114 but he is selling them used for under $13 (he also has a few sets of 2 listed for $20) with free shipping.

These are just a rebrand of the Tronex 7082 (around $73) just with Turquoise colored grips instead of Tronex blue.
They are pretty specialized cutters but if you need it this is a great deal.

The pictures look great and they are listed as gently used but its hard to say for sure as the ones in the pictures could be cherry picked from the batch he has. I won't know for sure till my order arrives.

I'm pretty sure the name just implies that the head is angled (think "Angulated Head" Cutter, and not Angulated "Head Cutter").

The purpose of these cutters and ones like it are to allow you to make a flush cut on something protruding from and object where clearance is an issue, the angle lets you have enough space for the handle and your fingers while still maintaining a parallel angle against the object with the cutting edge.

4C, no problems, but VIM or Grey Pneumatic or Sunex is going to be better than most Tekton anyhow, except for the Wilde made Tekton US pliers, and you can't get any of those at HF. How about more MAC made in USA? MAC is really good used, sockets, wrenches, etc. Thx for all your good efforts 4C. - Paul

Ok, thx 4C. Generally, I'd put MAC reasonable used prices about where used SK is or Proto or Wright. I have just a few odds and ends old US MAC but right up there with those brands. Excellent designs and fit.

Some other general comments for this thread: Buyers should always be careful to look at the seller ratings before bidding. I personally like to only bid from sellers with 98% or higher feedback and at least 50 sales. I have been burned once by a seller with fraud who sold stuff and never delivered anything. They like to get a good 20 or 30 honest sales, get good feedback, then turn fraud with 100 or 200 listings all at once and not deliver. It does happen. So the more sales a seller has reduces this ebay risk. I don't worry about a few bad transactions but if there are 10 or more bad transactions on 500 sales or less, i would stay away. Also, if buying multiple things from a seller, try to always ask about combined shipping first before bidding on multiple things. Some don't do combined shipping and factor in that shipping cost on individual items to raise their profits. I don't deal with sellers that won't combine shipping normally. Most do, but about 20% don't at all. Been burned on that in the past a couple times too. Some Ebay hints for the newbies mostly. Having said all that, still one of the best ways to get good stuff, especially now unavailable older good stuff, cheap. - Paul

The above is the exact same set I just recently got from different seller. I can highly recommend this set! As good as any short stubby brand of offsets I've seen! Well worth $35 or so at least. If there are local Oklahoma City people who want to buy these and pass on to other GJers, please post here! I am now a big fan of Indestro/Duro wrenches, perhaps more so than 4C even! Also, I've now bought from MolineStud and can recommend the above seller as well, even though he is one state over in Illinois, one of the worst run states in all of the MidWest and where a certain president community organizer came from!!! Doesn't seem that useful, to be honest, maybe some dealer bought a bunch of these and is just trying to clear out. The ratcheting screwdriver is much more popular (for good reason).

Those were the sets that went for $25 during an online clearance event almost 2 years ago. Bought 2 sets myself, one for me and another for a friend. Can't beat $2.80 a socket for 3/4 drive sockets.

Even at $44 still a great price.
