I also received the 11” diagonal cutters. No issues at all with mine
Looks/Sounds good, Think I'll grab at least the long side cutters.
Thank You!I also received the 11” diagonal cutters. No issues at all with mine

I see the Long side cutters on Amazon too, same price, Wonder if it's the same seller. Don't mention factory seconds though.I don't think they've got a shortage of those pliers. It looks to me like that Ebay seller buys "factory seconds" and other discontinued items from Tekton (and other tool companies) in lots.
If you look at the other items they've got listed, it's apparent they're a clearing house for close-out stuff.
Ordinarily I tend to avoid "made in China", but Tekton gets rave reviews here from most members, and I've previously dealt with that seller and they seem to be prompt with shipping.
The bottom line on those is that for $10 bucks delivered, you can't even get close. The 11-inch needle-nose model is $16 bucks at Walmart, plus the cost of your time and gas to drive there and buy it.
If I was going to buy these in Proamerica from Bowers Tool out of Dallas, they'd be $34 delivered ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Americ...liers-Straight-MADE-IN-USA-Plier/141408409086 )
The seller also has a mess of close-out Tekton locking pliers (aka "Vise-Grip" type pliers) as well, but I haven't been able to ferret out any feedback on them here from any members. I'll probably grab a set of them anyway, as I'm trying to fill up a tool box for my girlfriend's son, so I'm trying to work within a reasonable budget.

I just put in an order for that 10-inch curved jaw model - $12.07 to me delivered because i have to pay sales tax. I'll let you know how they look when they arrive - most of the orders from this outfit are only taking two days, not 7 as noted on the Ebay "purchase history" page:

I’d love if NWS, knipex or other quality European tools can be found on the cheap like these tekton
Yeah, I wish I could buy a trailer load of stuff and sell it, I don't hardly have anywhere to work here as it is, Still trying to save to move,^ Wouldn't surprise me a bit that they're using multiple venues to peddle their wares. I would too if I had that much stuff to unload.
When you buy close-outs and distressed inventories, you get it ALL - you don't get to cherry-pick the lot. Those are always "all or none" deals. I did lots of them both buying and selling.
You end up with a 60-foot trailer of stuff and you gotta scramble to get rid of it, because you've got another trailer full of stuff on the way.
They've probably got 'em on "Facebook" and "OfferUp" as well.
That seller's in Lincoln, Nebraska. So far so good. Two-day shipping to me.

* and if those aren't enough for you, or you want to really negotiate the price down on any of those four items above, check out his screwdrivers:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn=toolandpartcrib&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=screwdriver&_sop=15
* The "Michigan" screwdrivers and the "Tekton" screwdrivers are the exact same units. I bought at least two of each model he had for Christmas presents - as well as most of those other models he has - and most of them came in at a buck-and-a-half a pop. *
That's for sure!!I’d love if NWS, knipex or other quality European tools can be found on the cheap like these tekton
I know buddy, I'll try. I mean, I could move into an affordable High Rise,Hang in there and stay positive and look for a break. Even if it might be hard to pull off, try to move some place cheaper to live if you get the opportunity. There are some places in the country that are good values -- if you google affordable places to retire you can find them.
Thank you!!Ask your brother if he will make the time to help if you find a place. You have to give notice where you are so your brother will have advance notice. You have years ahead of you and it seems like you would enjoy them more in a different location where your money would go further and maybe you could have a garage/shop. It’s good to have a goal to work towards and look forward to.
The Ratchet reminds me of Proto. For anyone that might be a fan of Indestro tools, I spotted this set today. $39.99/BIN or best offer. Includes shipping.
