I've got a 750 sq ft attached that is 5 year concrete. I have purchased and plan on putting down ghostshield 4500 densifier and 8510 penetrating sealer. I've got high spots i'd like to get leveled off and get a nice uniform surface before doing this densifying/sealing. I've got a rental edco along with two sets of Double Dyma-Dots lined up. I have the Medium Concrete 30 grit double dots and the 70 grit as well.
My plan is to use the 30 to knock down the high spots and then go over the entire surface with the 70. My question is what does a surface prepped with 70-grit dyma-dots look like/feel like? I called edco direct and talked with them and they seemed to suggest it would be a nice smooth surface, while still having some grip. But the guy really didn't give me a great feeling.
Since the ghostshield will not change the appearance at all I want to make sure the finish after grinding is uniform and smooth, but not slick.
Looking for advice on this. I've yet to find examples of grinds with the various grits. They do make the dots in a 120 as well.
Thanks for any feedback.
