I recently had a ceiling fan act up on me. The fan itself worked fine, but the lights completely stopped working. I pulled it apart and after playing with it, removed a temp. safety fuse, or at least that's what my Google search says it's called. It's a Limitor T160, and has 130C stamped on it.
Once I bypassed it, the lights work. So do I need this fuse installed? If I do, where can I find a replacement? I might be able to call Hunter and see if they will send me one, as the fan is pretty new (but probably out of warranty). I can't find a place to buy one, but maybe I just don't know where to look.

Especially if you leave it running unattended. Don't want to hear of any fires now.
