You too, huh?

Not a clue. Ordered a fancy knife online that came with a leather sheath. Made in India. Came with "instructions" telling me to not store the knife in the leather sheath, as it would cause it to rust.
I'm not a metallurgist. It sounded nutty to me, because (like @RTM) I have some cutting edges that are kept in leather... so WTH?
Leather naturally has salt in it, and can have additional salt added during the tanning process. Without oil being applied, or a protective coating applied, it can cause certain metals to rust.

And an SAE version... And yes, those are the snap-on reversible (blue point)
In my previous post I showed an image of the older discontinued stubby wrench tool roll and it contains the ratcheting stubby wrenches from snap-on everything fits. What's kind of hard to see is that those have a lot of room in them and they kind of bunch out so that they can accommodate a wider thicker wrench.

I also have one of their modern tool rolls meant for their their newest stubby wrenches at Tekton, And this newer wrench roll will not accommodate the reversible ratcheting stubby wrenches. So on a whim, I grabbed the Craftsman overdrive standard box end wrenches and that works just fine in the newer tool roll and then I took the v series ratcheting wrench and that one would not fit into the newer current Tekton tool roll. They are just a little too wide.

The only standard wrench I tried in there was the Craftsman overdrive and that fit just fine for every size I tried. The picture below shows the old discontinued style for the stubbies and the roll below that shows the newer style of tool roll.

This is a particular interest to me because I have swapped out some tool rolls that came with wrenches that I have purchased with tool rolls that I like better.

I don't know when I pulled out some Wright Tools wrenches es and those the clothes end work just fine.. I also checked the 5/8 and that worked with both sides with 3/4 only worked with the closed end. But here are the wright tool In a Tekton tool roll.

Obviously I cannot use the small tool roll for a full size wrench because they're just too tall, but this is more a question of what type of head will fit In which tool roll.

Sometimes I had no tool roll at all and I was still able to use the Tekton.

Now if only Atlas 46 made stubby tool rolls

I've never been a fan of tool rolls, but the Atlas46 looks really good and well thought out. How is the quality and where are they made?

Amazing quality, some of my favorites. Made in the USA. They have some features others do not such as a D ring for hanging. The tool rolls that I have from them. Use a hook to fasten but you can snug up as opposed to hook and loop fasteners only. Don't get me wrong, they do have hook and loop as part of full package, but, the final closure that holds the entire thing together is a hook. When things are heavy, this holds better than a hook and loop fastener, but, you still might prefer a hook and loop fastener.

When I have had an atlas 46, I've always preferred it to whatever else I had used...

The demim rolls from wright are really nice and durable and they sell them individually. Also all of their wrench sets that I've looked at come with the nice roll. It was worth it for me to buy another set for the road that came with the roll.

This is the one I bought but it was about 20$ cheaper at the time.

In the early 80's, I had a girlfriend, yes at one time I did have a girlfriend, who liked to sew. She made me a custom tool roll out of an old pair of jeans.

It fit the Craftsman wrenches perfectly and was tough as hell. I still have the wrenches and the tool roll, but don't have the girlfriend.

Just goes to show you where to invest your time and money. Don't tell my wife where I got it,
Griff

I got one of the Bucket Boss wrench rolls for my truck tools. I way overestimated its capacity to hold anything other than wrenches. I would buy one specially made for just wrenches and put in wrenches only. No screwdrivers, no ratchets, no nuthin'.
