Very clean workbench, I love it. Would be cool if you came across some more of those drawers and added to the bench.

Looks almost too good to use! How many guys to carry it out there?
Holy **** that is nice. The Wilton vice is a perfect way to top it off. Very classy![]()
Very nice indeed. Is that the Palmgren vise off Ebay you mentioned in another post? If so, is the channel machined or as cast? (Maybe this info is in the other thread, I didn't look)
I just read through the thread. Great job. You're not the only one that dreams of work benches. Congrats on a job well done.everything came out how I had envisioned it...I dream of this stuff at night![]()
Any idea what this tips the scales at with the 3/4 top
I don't recall the exact dimensions of the top itself but with all the steel involved, I'm gonna say easy 1,000 lbs.
I guesstimate the top is right around 525 lbs alone...trimmed it out with 1/4" Diamond Plate, 3/16 Wall 3" SQ Tube legs, drawer by itself is a 2 man lift. I'm not afraid of it blowing away in the wind...LOL
Do you have any close ups of the slides? I'm going to ask my driver monday if he has any krl or epiq top drawers laying around.
Sure...here are some pics of the mocking up and fitting of them..I made em just like SO does, so if I ever need to swap a slide out its no big deal.

Very, very impressive! Agree with others - it's the coolest bench I've seen so far. The drawer finishes it off nicely!
One minor detail... Did you tip the end of the sliders like the EPIQ?![]()
