Epoxy Chip Floor Resurface in NJ

This was a 4000 Sqft project where we had to remove VCT, grind off the mastic, crack fill, patch, create an integral 4 inch coving and a poured epoxy chip floor with a chipped stripe through out. It took us 6 days with 5 guys, 2 - 20 inch 5 hp grinders, 1 - 30 inch 5 hp grinder and 2 hand grinders for edging. Any questions on the process, ask away.

Very nice, 80% of the job was in the prep!

I feel for you we did a 12 car garage this week 4000 sqft total new construction, did it start to finish with grinding and a full broadcast floor in 3.5 days...just me and another guy who is also in his early 40's. Then we went and did a 500 sqft 2 car on Friday. We were dead beat come Friday evening. And we get to start it all up again tomorrow! On the 12 car we will be putting in about 50 cabinets total, 3 large sections of Slat-Wall and three 4 post lifts. This is a huge house, garage space is bigger then most houses in my area.

Currently we are 3-4 weeks out on all new job starts, has been this way for 4 months now....economy seems to be picking up down here some.

Gain great job on the floor, like the stripe that you did in the hall.
