Any at the LOWES in Fresno Calif. Thanks

They received it Oct. 20th and misplaced it until today. The pallet was stuck on top of a rack and they just found it today after I called 4 times. I just got back from purchasing 4 kits of taupe. They have 2 remaining kits of taupe and 6 kits of grey. And yes, the price is $169 each. Actually I used a 10% off moving coupon (free from the post office in the moving pack) so they were $152 each. I don't know of any other stores north of Bakersfield carrying them.

The product number for taupe is 16916 and for the grey it is 16958.

Here's a list of California stores that was provided to me by Christine.

#1013 San Diego
#208 La Quinta
#2481 Escondido
#1576 Murrietta
#1050 San Clemente
#1574 Moreno Valley

#2856 Highland
#1588 Oceanside
#774 Rancho Cucamonga
#1026 Palm Springs
#775 Temecula
#2583 Palm Desert
#2528 Apple Valley
#795 Fresno
#790 Bakersfield

Does anyone have the Lowe's Item # they can share? My Lowes in Omaha NE is supposed to be carrying it but I've called and gone by the store several times with no avail.

Thanks

Christine, Can you assure us that the product being sold at Lowes is the exact same formulation and quality as the Epoxy-Coat that you currently sell. As you know, box stores are famous for having products engineered and formulated to their specifications so that they can take advantage of a product or company with a long standing reputation of quality and offer a product at reduced prices compared to other retail outlets, and allowing the consumer to assume that they're buying the same product as the manufacturer has distrubuted through other channels. This is typically not the case when a box store takes you on as a new vendor but often the manufacturers are "cornered" into cost reducing a product in order to maintian the relationship with the box store. Please advise.

Hmm interesting angle. I'd seen it go the opposite way in some cases. Manufacturer changes the product designation on big-box product to avoid direct competition with existing higher-end distribution channels then has to be creative to explain the real difference between the products.

One example: Laticrete Spectralock versus Spectralock Pro epoxy grout; the company swore the formulas were different - probably were but it was very unclear whether it was different in any meaningful way. If I remember right; MSDS info, etc was very similar.

But now that the Lowes Epoxy-Coat conspiracy theory has been unleased... no putting the genie back in the bottle :)

It is the EXACT same formulation. There was no change at all, it is the same high quality you all have come to expect from us.

Anyone in Northern NJ interested in doing a group buy?
There are 3 stores sort of close by that should be stocking the product (Wilkes-Barre, PA + Scranton, PA + Binghampton, NY)

Maybe something like cost+tax+$20 to the driver?
Would come out to $200 a kit

Has anyone had experiance with jackstands, floor jacks and scissors jack on the Epoxy-Coat. It would seem that the "flakes" would be crushed by the mid rise scissor jack as the metal wheels roll across the floor.
