Epoxy-Coat in Lowe's

I did not read through the whole thread but, wanted to see a couple things..

1) Is it available at Maryland Lowe's stores? If so, which ones?
2) Will Lowe's install? Or do you know of quality installers in Maryland?

I'm in the Clarksburg/Germantown area. Let me know if you need more info in my location.

I also need to see this stuff..to figure out colors I want to do.

I know this question was asked a long time ago...but any update on Lowe's stores in Maryland / MD carrying your product? Thanks!

when applying the premium kit - instructions say wait 18-24 hrs to apply the clear over the base. Ok to wear spike shoes or not on he base spreading the clear?

During my Epoxy-Coat install I was able to easily walk on it at after 12 hours (75 deg F & 65% RH) with my shoes only no spikes. I did use my spikes during the clear coat stage and did not have any damage but can see how it would do so. Spikes make it MUCH easier to broadcast paint flakes evenly during the epoxy stage and can assist in a shorter arm reach for backrolling during the clearcoat stage. I had epoxy dried around the bottom of the spikes so it was more like pegs or pencil pegs. That may have kept it from poking the fresh epoxy.

The pros on here are better to follow and I agree not to use spikes during clear.

Keep in mind, I never charge shipping to GJ members.

Ugh, a little too late. I bought through Lowes (OP was in 2010).

I was faced with Lowes+ Sales Tax + Red Flakes (to add to standard grey scheme- from a completely other supplier including shipping) = $485

or

Pay premium at manufacture direct + shipping (which on the E-C website at least is $$$), but include red flakes as part of the color scheme. = $496 + $78 shipping = $574

If GJ members get free shipping (maybe put that in your signature) then the difference would have been negligible. E-C needs to bring down the price to provide incentive to buying from a small business (not sure what their Lowe's contract stipulates).

When I call and say "I am looking at a kit through Lowe's, what does it include?" Chime in and say "Buy manufacture direct and I'll knock X% off the price."--- or,just be lower priced manufacture direct to begin with, because I clearly already know who the manufacture is. After all why provide the customer support for Lowe's (isn't that what the $17.50/hr DIY "experts" in the store are for), and then lose a sale(profit margin) based on $

(I should charge for that feasibility, business's pay astronomical prices for "analyst" etc...)

I'm not sure about any stores that carry in stock, but we do provide to Lowe's nationwide. You can purchase on their website or at the store. You can also chose to pick ship direct to you or to the store. Or, you can order over the phone and we can match Lowe's pricing.
