So we went&put rustleoum epoxy kits that they sell @ Lowes it appeared to come out well @ first..wasnt a lot of gloss to it but on about the 5th day..(today) I went down there&it had peeled up in about 4 HUGE. spots .I think that it had something to do with moisture as it was warm when we applied it but the next day after it dried the temp dropd&a huge storm rolled in&the following mornings the floors were wet from moisture the only thing I can figure is that more moisture ponded up on those spots &caused it to lift&crack
Well I took peeled away as much as I could till I hit what seemed solid now feathering it out with 80 grit on my Da & I'm gonna use driveway paint I had tinted to the same color&add the paint chips over it..that way if it happens again I can do so again since they don't make a touch up kit.luckily I'm moving my shop till a bigger one I'm having built &luckily the spots that are bad are where my compressor&boxes etc will sit.Anyone had this happen before from moisture?
btw I went well beyond the normal amount of prep & it looks more like a paint then an epoxy.
