Hi All,
Anxiously awaiting my RaceDeck order to finish my garage and thinking about my small 8x8 Cabana in the meantime. It has a 7 year old, mostly fine concrete floor and the structure is framed in pressure treated wood. It tends to ingest water though which pools on the floor and I believe contributes to rotting the wood which sits along the floor forming the base for the studs (there is a word for this I know)
I am wondering if I do an Epoxy covering, can I bring it seamlessly up over the base of the framing to form a bit of a water tight pool maybe 2 inches up, such that any water that comes in through the front window simply collects on the floor but doesn't touch any wood?
Not sure if this is a normal process? The epoxy I put on the bar top of this cabana has been exceptional for protecting that wood which is fully exposed so I assume it'd be viable?
