Just a tip I learned while applying Quikcrete two part epoxy floor paint, primer or no primer. In my excitement to coat my garage floor in March of 2011 I let my heart overcome my brain. In March, we had a 3-4 day stretch of 70 degree weather here in northern Utah. I was planning on waiting until perhaps June when the warm weather was more consistent. I decided to give it a go in March. Mistake! Even though the outside temp was near 70, the floor in the garage conducted the 45 degree night temp and held it much of the day. The bottom line is that the floor dried nicely in some areas but remained tacky for weeks in other areas. It slowly cured however in June I applied another coat which cured within 24 hours. Of course no cars on the surface for at least 72 hours.
