My stuff came Friday afternoon. I'm really impressed with the Voltec extension cord, the only problem is now I realize I've never owned a decent extension cord before, all my other cords are junk by comparison.

I'm getting the slightest bit worried just because I ordered a ton of extension cords for a big outdoor wedding we're putting on in two weeks. It didn't really occur to me at the time that they might not be delivered by then.

I'm sure HJE is just getting through them as fast as they can though and I ordered on the 5th so my order is later in line.

I was wondering the same thing, mostly because I noticed I haven't seen a picture of this year's shirt yet!

Since I don't desperately need any of the items I ordered, I'm not in a rush, and I'm happy to see HJE get so much business (and any of the US manufacturers whose products we're buying!)

By the way, I stopped in Epstein's last year and got the full tour, including their packaging/mail order area. Great people!

The Aluminum one seems quite similar, but Thor is "European" so a direct order may be complicated, but it might help to have a brand if it looks similar to you. They also list new faces, worth investigating to me

I would measure the faces, see if something US would fit. I put some rawhide Garland's into an older one, lots of different face choices out there. Hard plastic, soft plastic, copper, wood. Assuming just a press fit, if threaded, good luck.

I do plan on measuring the threaded holes and face recess and sourcing out some locally sourced hammer faces, I can adjust the size and contour of the faces as necessary on my lathe if not a perfect fit

That’s my guess, my whole order was in stock and I ordered on the 3rd. Must be the case.

I received a shipping notification on 7/6 and it arrived on 7/10. It was shipped USPS Priority Mail 2-Day. I ordered a 50' extension cord, a pair of Channellock 422-C and a mystery bag.

So quick update. We got a big order from SK and Wright on a number of the backordered items and we're pulling the orders as quick as we can. Hopefully we'll get the bulk of the orders out by next week. Not only did we get swamped with Epstein's Day but are also experiencing larger than normal "everyday business" so... thanks for your patience and if anyone is in the boat where they're in a time crunch on some items just give us a call or DM me and I'll see what we can do.

Vaughan rebrands a bunch of Thor soft face hammers, so you can probably get replacement Thor faces from them.
