Okay, my cart is ready, now what? Just wait until Friday? (That's going to be rough to do) Can't find any shipping info on the website, is there some kind of shipping deal too?

Start thinking about a box art request!

There generally isn't a shipping discount. You should see some shipping options in your cart, but yes, you should wait for Friday. Be sure to check out the closeouts sections for some odds and ends that you never knew you needed.

They're made out of 7/64" steel. Very heavy duty. All I know about them was that they were made for the navy but no one at the warehouse remembered what they were actually made for.
We used boxes similar to this to carry aircraft specific tool kits on the flight line and flight deck. If you close them up you can use them as a step stool also, just don't left the safety guy see you.

I certainly appreciate HJE giving the option to pick USPS for shipping.
That's usually a much faster and cheaper option than UPS or Fedex for me. Great to have the choice

Went ahead and checked out with my cart on Sunday night. Used pay PayPal for check out. All Epstein Days prices were honored. Shipped today. Shipping was $14 and change for my $38 order. Love this holiday though! Cool stuff.

Are all the discounts live or will more added or discounted on Friday?

They're live and should be active now. If you don't see them try logging into the website. If you still don't see them when you're logged in then you're not a member yet and you need to message me on GJ with your email.

Ok. thanks.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to miss anything if I checked out on Friday without browsing around again. My cart is already loaded.

Long time lurker, finally had to join up to get in on the sweet, sweet, Epstein Day action. Plus I just discover the HJE YouTube channel. Love those dispatches!

I was just wondering how some of you guys are already ordering and getting a discount. When I go to checkout, I’m not seeing any code?

Cut from previous post
  • "How do I get those sweet sweet special GJ prices?" 🎰
    • You have to create an account on our website and then DM me your email address so I can add you to the special GJ group.
    • If you've already done this in years past you don't need to do it again.
    • If you're unsure if you've done this, just ask and I can tell you if you're signed up.
    • When you order be sure to leave a comment that says, "Happy Epstein's Day" or something like that. Points for creativity will be rewarded.

Well that got out of hand LOL.

Planned to upgrade my plier drawer with some Channellock slip-joints and ended up ordering 16 items.
Mostly small items, brands Wilde, Channellock, Malco, Craftsman, Crescent, Enderes, and Lowell. I'd never heard of Enderes until this thread and suddenly needed their reversible screwdrivers and small pry bars.

Can't wait to see the "Camaro with a Bat or Parrot" box art.

Sending my order in first thing Friday... looking forward to that big cardboard box arriving sometime in the next few weeks!
Thanks, HJE!

Wow July snuck up on me.

So what’s the list of “official” deals for this year? Is HJE doing the discount on close out items again?

I must be the only one actually waiting for the day

Good excuse to find a few more items to buy!

So what’s the list of “official” deals for this year? Is HJE doing the discount on close out items again?
Start here -
Epstein's Day is rapidly approaching so I just wanted to lay out the standard FAQ guidelines that have developed over the years.

  • "When is it?" ⏰
    • Since July 4th falls on a Sunday, Epstein Dayz will start on Friday (07/02) and go through Sunday (07/04) which means Epstein's Day officially begins 12:01 central time for those that like to get their orders in early.
  • "How long does it take for me to get my order?" 📫
    • Since we are about to be flooded with online orders it takes us longer than normal to process everything so please be patient. We will work as fast as we can to get everything processed.
  • "Just get to the deals already" 👨‍🔧
    • No. You have to read the instructions first.
  • "What is box art?"🖼️
    • We have a team of people that like to draw on boxes. If you'd like your box painted just send a request in the comments box such as, "Box Art" or if you want to be more specific you can say, "I'd like a portrait of Mr. T as Santa Claus". Keep in mind if you ask for a picture of your dog we don't know what your dog looks like. Be as vague or specific as you want, but box art does make it take longer. Also, it's free so you can't complain if you hate it.
    • I'm pretty sure if you checkout with Paypal there is no way to send a comment so you'll have to email us your request ([email protected])
    • If you have any desire to satisfy the whims of our box artists they're really into bats and parrots lately.
  • "I am so excited to tell you what shirt size I wear but I don't know how?"🙋‍♂️
    • If you qualify for a 2021 Epstein's T-shirt you need to tell us your shirt size. You can do that in the comments box, but like before, if you're checking out with PayPal you might need to send us an email to let us know.
  • "Can I please find out about the deals now?" 💵
    • Yes. Kind of.
    • For anyone that orders $100 in Wright Tool merchandise, you will get the official 2021 Epstein's Day T-shirt (while supplies last). The t-shirt this year is designed by our very own box artist Jayne, who will also be the one packing up most of your orders. The shirts will be US made and army green this year. I'll send a pic as soon as I have one.
    • Channellock is sending us a bunch of swag. It hasn't arrived but has been described as, "hats, stickers, key chains, etc..." If you buy anything Channellock we will try to throw some of this in there for you.
    • We still have plenty of Malco hats left so anyone that orders the Eagle grips will still get their hat.
    • The Norseman Vortex Drill Bit sets (which are awesome by the way) will be on sale for $175.00. Norseman might also do something else but we're still waiting to hear back from them.
    • We're going to give you guys some great deals on our closeouts. They're too many to list but lots of the recent stuff we got in will have a special price. I'm going to start changing the prices today which means you will have access to them soon, BUT keep in mind, if you don't order on Epstein's Day(z) you will miss out on all of the goodies. So...stay tuned for the thread with a bunch of links to all of the closeouts we will be offering.
    • And finally, every Epstein's Day order will include the official HJE Super Secret Cipher, a disc that will let you decode secret messages from Epstein's that will give you access to lots of deals in the future. These discs will be for sale after Epstein's Day but you guys will be the first to get them, seeing as you're already part of our secret society of tool addicts.
    • That's it! Also don't forget to have a great fourth of July. Thanks again guys! This has become a really special thing for us and we really appreciate it.

Just got off the phone with the owner of Enderes. Had a great conversation and we're going to start buying more from them. They've retooled some of their 6 in 1 screwdrivers which should be coming out in a few months and they're also working on anvils and other exciting stuff so your GJ comment got them a good amount of business :)
I bought the Enderes large chisel and punch set. I’m really happy with it.

As a fellow long time lurker, I find it inconceivable that anyone would have the audacity to join Garage Journal in order to take advan... uh, participate in Epstein Day.

Wait... what? It's already started?! :willy_nil

They have Martin, Bonney, and Wright service wrenches. Sold in singles and as sets. Easiest is to simply search "service wrench" on their site, as they are on different pages.
Thank you.

Order came in. Highly recommend the Oklahoma leather co tool pouch in the close out section. It was my favorite purchase and exceeded expectations. Also got a bomb tether just for the hell of it. Williams supercombo 1/2” wrench was a great deal and nice piece to add. Other stuff was a Ullman socket rail and a mystery bag! Glad to participate with a small order.

It's been a few years since my last Epstein's Day.

I have everything ready, sitting in my cart...all made in USA stuff. I had to move some things to my wishlist, don't want to spend to much at one time. I'll place my order in the morning.

Website's having some issues...

EDIT: Issues seemed short-lived. Was able to place my Epstein Day order a bit ahead of the official start.

Order (#000020646) placed! It was hard not to buy my whole wishlist at once. We’ll see how strong my willpower remains over the coming days.

Order #000020661

I used the comment box to request box art and I also sent an email just in case the comment box didn't work since it only allowed me to use paypal.

What is the importance of posting your order #? Is there a drawing or something?
I like when people post what they ordered, gives me more bad ideas of things I need, but didn’t find. My cart is ready to go, just give it one last look after breakfast….
