We used boxes similar to this to carry aircraft specific tool kits on the flight line and flight deck. If you close them up you can use them as a step stool also, just don't left the safety guy see you.
I trust you were sporting a U.S. Navy-issued flight deck crewman sound attenuating helmet assy (aka "cranial") when your work boots left the deck. LOL

Missed the box art spot, hoping they get my message as looking forward to seeing a tractor made of wrenches!

Edit: Website certainly slower than it has been, must be a fair number of people browsing

Order #000020661

I used the comment box to request box art and I also sent an email just in case the comment box didn't work since it only allowed me to use paypal.

Credit Card worked for me, but had to enable multiple scripts (noScript used regularly)

Order 00020677

got some channel lock snipe nose pliers to replace my old excelite ones, now made by Weller overseas I’m pretty sure.
a new set of snap ring pliers surely better than the junk I’ve had thus far
A new set of vice grips, now eagle grips to go with the rusty beat up pair I found in the dirt 25 years ago. When I looked at my old ones I realized they where made by Dewitt too, apparently they used to be owned my Peterson before Malco

Also grabbed a couple tool rolls, we’ll see who those turn out and a few close out screwdrivers, wrenches, ect.

Put a pretty good dent in the credit card but supporting HJE is worth it.
HAPPY EPSTEIN DAY!

Dewitt is actually the town in Nebraska where they are made. From what I understand, Malco actually bought the same building that was the old Petersen, then Irwin factory.

You’re right, I did some poking around and apparently Peterson invented and patented the vise grip. He lived in and made them in Dewitt Nebraska. In something like 1993 they merged with Irwin industrial tool (merge/bought?), that became American tool before being sold to Rubbermaid who offshored the manufacturing and shut the plant down in 2008.
Malco bought it and reopened it in 2018 apparently and they’re once again making locking pliers.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the design and construction has changed in 28 years when I get the new set.

Order # 00002078, with Steve there manually adding a couple SK tools that did not come up in a search of the HJE website.

Box art on request.

I'm giddy thinking about receiving with my order the official HJE Super Secret Cipher.

Happy Epstein Day. Although I've ordered many times from this amazing store this is the first boxart I have requested and the first participation in Epstein's Day. Hopefully the first of many.

I would buy the western forge version for $100. The crescent too if I needed it. But the late model forgings from crescent don't seem as nice (probably are fully functional)

I'm in! #000021300. Nothing crazy, just the Stanley 18oz. dead blow and a nice pair of Klein Cutlery 8"scissors I've been wanting.

USA! Happy 4th everyone!
