Quick update from the Ernst side: Wrench Pros will be available in blue shortly. It sounds like other colors (at least Hiviz and Green, which were specifically mentioned) will be here in April.
Maybe we can get the thread title updated to refer to Ernst and not just Tekton?
I have been holding off until they have hi-viz. Where was this info from? Hope it releases sooner.Quick update from the Ernst side: Wrench Pros will be available in blue shortly. It sounds like other colors (at least Hiviz and Green, which were specifically mentioned) will be here in April.

Cleaned up the cart drawer a bit......some observations:
1. Order many extra label sheets
2. I labeled both ends of my double end flares, hence the need for extra labels!
3. 24mm was the limit for the wrench heads in my 2" SO drawers.
Overall pretty happy, biggest thing for me was no longer having to pull wrenches out of holders, it's nice to just pull and drop them, especially for the flare and thin end Geodores that I use for brakes.

With the bigger wrenches, the open end sits on the drawer bottom. If the holder is near the open end, the box end will also touch the drawer. If the holder is nearer to the box end, the wrench sits level. Here is how a 32mm Wright and Gearwrench sit in the holder. The Gearwrench sits level no matter what since both ends are the same size.

Where are you purchasing the magnetic version in Canada?I bought 40 slots each of the magnetic ones in red and black to try and I'm sold. They work so much better than the cheap wrench rails I had and than the older Ernst wrench rails that I've never been happy with. The magnets are strong and keep the organizer where you want it. I'm a happy guy.
I'm going to buy probably about 160 more for wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. I've been searching for a good toolbox organizer for a long time. I was set on toolbox widget but they're never in stock in Canada. I honestly think these are much better.
I bought the Ernst Magnetic version on Amazon.ca. You have to do some looking for the best price. No, they're not cheap. No good toolbox organization is, so I just bit the bullet.Where are you purchasing the magnetic version in Canada?
I see the Tekton ones on Amazon.ca, but the Ernst magnetic version ship from the states and are significantly more expensive
Pennies on the dollar if you know someone with a 3D printer. Plus you can do cool custom things like print the size labels, or "squish" the designs so the holders for smaller wrench sizes are narrower, allowing smaller wrenches to be closer together.I bought the Ernst Magnetic version on Amazon.ca. The prices have gone up since I purchased. This is the best price I found for black: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0C66GFXN5?tag=atomicindus04-20
This is the best I found for red:
I have Prime, so that might make a difference in shipping costs.
Or instead of ripping off a company's design to save a few bucks, just buy them.Pennies on the dollar if you know someone with a 3D printer. Saving money is not the primary objective. I mentioned just a couple examples of the the possible improvements/optimizations in my post, but there are many more.Or instead of ripping off a company's design to save a few bucks, just buy them.
Thinking you're saving anything by spending the time, power, and filament to print 250+ wrench holders (roughly what I have) is pretty funny.
Someone asked me where I got my organizers on a thread about those specific organizers, and for some reason you felt the need to reply to me that I should 3D print them then didn't like the response. That's almost predictable.Saving money is not the primary objective. I mentioned just a couple examples of the the possible improvements/optimizations in my post, but there are many more.
No, at the scale of 250 wrench organizers, it likely does not pay to make them yourself, but there are a lot of people on this forum who will buy tools and parts and spend an inordinate amount of time to fix or make something that could be done more quickly and cheaply by someone else. But that's not why they do it. They do it because it brings them joy to think, and to create, and to tinker. And that sentiment is pervasive throughout the DIY and Maker culture that surrounds this the world of 3D printing and this forum alike.
People who 3d print things as a hobby are not cutting into the profits of companies that manufacture commercial items for mass market consumption any more than some person changing their own oil in their garage is cutting into the pfofit made by auto dealerships and quick lube joints. And the notion that someone 3D printing something for their own use is "ripping off" a major manufacturer of similar products is laughable. I suppose you only support 3D printing original designs across the board?
Hey look, I'm really sorry this seems to have hit you so hard. I responded to you because your post was the last one (thus bumping it to the top of the front page). You just talked about buying a **** ton of these, so obviously I was not suggesting that you 3d print them.Someone asked me where I got my organizers on a thread about those specific organizers, and for some reason you felt the need to reply to me that I should 3D print them then didn't like the response. Thanks for the heads-up. Just placed mine on order too..Hiviz now available. I have mine on order.
The only issue so far is that they do not seem to have any stock for the singles.
Ha. I use to have mismatched everything. Drove me crazy, especially when I had a gopher handing me tools. Now everything is organized, nothing gets lost, and it’s easy to communicate what I need. That's looking HIGHLY visible.
Great points. I am 3D printing smaller organizers for the midget wrenches. These are neat, and if I was starting to organize today, I'd consider them. But it's clear when looking at the pics above that they should've made these in at least two sizes, if not three- that could still fit together. Up to ~19mm conventional wrench length doesn't need the super high tab; above that size needs to have a slightly wider wrench beam opening with the high design. The third option could be narrower for stubby and tiny wrenches so you can actually grab one end.
