I paid $30 for this vintage Craftsman metal toolbox with contents. The pics were pretty bad -- low light didn't move anything so everything was buried. Zero description other than "toolbox with tools".
The bolt cutters are definitely a nice pickup, as I loaned mine out 2 years ago and never got them back.
They're Companion (Sears) brand. Also it came with a pipe wrench, some CM SAE sockets (seems complete), CM raised panel ratchet, CM torpedo level in a case, CM hex keys, CM measuring tape (new), CM punch and chisel set. Misc pliers and some extensions. Overall, not bad for $30.
I guess the bolt cutters alone would've cost me $15 to buy new, so now the grab bag of tools set me back $15. I already have 3 full sets of tools (SK, CM, and Powr-Kraft). So I will probably cherry-pick a few items out of this lot and the rest will be re-homed.
Also, I got a nice step stool (needed badly) for $5. I wish I had increased my paltry bid amounts, as a lot of cool stuff went for measly amounts. It was an online only auction. I never went for inspection. I just bid online.
