Yeah.... Mine is just a renovation on our existing 2 car and I have come to realize I have a love/hate relationship with it and it will never be "done" When i think I am going to finish up one aspect and post it I seem to end up wanting to move, change, or whatever something. I also get side tracked with other stuff and end up finishing other people's stuff and back burnering mine. Though I have several benches, i found myself sitting on the floor yesterday hooking up an LED drop light my son got me to my old (but in surprisingly good condition) reel because of other projects I am on. Also, I keep getting ideas from GJ on things to do. I insulated and dry walled the place a year ago, but have not finished or painted it because i keep making changes (mostly thanks to the people on this board). Really, it's a little like the Winchester Mystery House. I can't seem to stop building.
I guess that's the part that drives me nuts. The part I love is when I'm building something and I'm in the zone... Got some Stevie Ray Vaughn or BB King on the stereo, a good cup of coffee or an iced tea, the dog is hanging out with me, and no one is bothering me. I think that's when I appreciate the warmth, electrical, air, and all the other stuff I have done to make it a more useable space... even if it isn't or never will be finished.
