Hello,
Really happy with the way the install turned out. I had previously put down some VCT and decided to cover it up with some interlocking tiles.
Highlights:
1. Like the 20"x20" form factor. Preferred this over the more common 12" x12" options out there. Covered about 650ft2....
2. The PVC is pretty dense, pliable and soft to walk on. Easy to cut with a miter saw or sharp exacto. We were looking for a softer resilient tile with a smooth finish. Wanted to be able to easily navigate a ping pong table, drill press, or anything on wheels.
3. Cuts are clean, even a hole saw cut...
4. Snaps together easily with a mallet hammer.
5. Sealed with Hilway Direct. The one thing that bothered me with the VCT was the tire transfer. Hopefully, this will be alleviated/eliminated with the darker Exelia color.
Please take note that our garage is used to house all the kids sports stuff, some nice cabinets, TV, bikes, ping pong table. We're lucky to be in CA and able to spend quite a bit of time outside. The Exelia is perfect for us as my boys are running around barefoot/socks more than me using it as a mechanic's garage.
