Expandable foam to seal up a Pole Barn?

I have a pole barn, and with the steel's corrugation it has a small 2" hole at the base every 6 inches. And also at the top. I'm wanting to seal these up since I'll be insulating and drywalling. I don't need mice in there at the base, or wasps in the ceiling. Plus it will really help seal up my shop. I think

Is this the best way to do it? Just a quick shot of the foam? I've heard to use the blue type for window and doors since it isn't as heavy duty. I was told the Heavy duty ones can actually seperate screws and joints.

Is this a good or bad idea? If it's bad, any recomendations?

Nope. Half of the building is above ground by about 10".

I've used both types of spray foam and am not fond of the blue can. It cost more and feels lighter. I had the same type of building in the past and the red can will work, you just have to be slow and wait for it to rise. I spayed all of my metal behind the post (very slowly) and let it sit for a day. Then I came back with a razor blade and trimmed off the excess. Sealed it up tight. The red can just needs to have room to expand or it can hurt some stuff. I have even used it to caulk with...........

Its not that hard to install this stuff it doesn't seal perfect but you could see
if something else was needed after the clousure strips.
