Lately, in replacing siding shingles, I find my nail bag has two pliers, two screwdrivers, a utility knife, a block plane, pencils and, oh ya two types of nails. There is also a Wonder Bar and hammer but those are not in the bag.
More often than not something from the bag escapes while avoiding use so it's a trip to the ground. And again and again.
I am thinking I need to find a ladder mounted tool tray or something like that because it is a PIA fishing through the bag pockets to find the needed tool. Actually it needs to be more than a tray but have tall lips to keep the tools on there and also no cover the rung to block the rung from being used to step on.
Edit: On further thought a tray would be disorganized so now I am picturing something like a leather tool belt with stiffly formed individual pockets but the whole thing needs to be adapted to hang on an extension ladder rung, perhaps outset a bit to not void the rung for stepping on higher on occasion.
Ya, I know, just wear it. But that is a lot of bulk to be moving around with if it can be avoided.
