Maybe I am not understanding your question good enough but I get a reading/understanding that the following Countries are involved with Facom:

They would include the following regions of:
Western & South Europe.
North Africa.
Middle East.
Asia.
Scandinavia & Eastern Europe.

https://www.facom.com/

Have I missed something in your question op ?:dunno:

Depends on the tool.

Traditionally, the majority were French. Some were Italian.

Facom has been bought out by Stanley, so the county of origin could be France, Italy, Taiwan, or even China. Possibly some others, but those are the common ones I see.

Most of the newer patterns of Tool are Taiwanese at best. The Taiwanese tools generally seem to be among the better Taiwanese, but that doesn’t mean I’m prepared to pay “Made in France” prices. The 440 wrenches, for example, are made in Taiwan. The older 40 series were French. The 440’s are quite decent. I note that the pliers have recently changed though. The older (French made) were very nice. The newer ones are not.

In many cases, there are different options available. The “Palm Control” ratchets are still Italian made, but if you buy the newer models they are Taiwanese. In the U.K. the country of origin is relatively easily determined, but Stanley are not particularly transparent about this generally.

I don’t know exactly what Granger Canada sell, but doubt it’s different from any other Facom. If there’s a high proportion of special offers and discounted lines, expect a similar proportion of Taiwanese and Chinese tools rather than French or Italian!

I was looking at a couple of sockets. Granger supplies would likely be from North American Stanley distribution.

Where are Facom tools sold by Granger Canada made ?

It depends on the specific tool, not the reseller.

Most tool companies that offer a "complete" or "near complete" line of tools buy at least some of those tools from other companies. What company (and where that company's headquarters and actual production are) really varies.

They might make tools A and B in their own factory in one country, tools C and D in their own factory in another country, buy tool E from another company in another country, buy tools F and G from yet another company in yet another country, etc.

Supply chains are global. You can't escape that these days, really.

I may sound like a jerk but how hard is it to google a part number and do about a minutes worth of research? Took me about 30 seconds to take the part number of a socket off the Grainger Canada website and find the COO. France.

I would be very surprised if the COO for a Facom socket is France. Where did you see this?

Edit. Oh, discontinued insulated sockets? I should have looked first.

I think any Facom sockets readily available today are made in Taiwan. Older Facom sockets were made in France.

As others have said, it depends on the tool. Facom sources from several countries.
