Went in today to get some old school drop lights and picked up the 310 lumen swivel headlamp. I must say after testing it out at home in the dark I’m somewhat impressed.
I’ll see how it does at work tomorrow.

Ok, wow. That HF multimeter is in my truck as I write this. Luckily it's January. Oklahoma summers are...let's just say you don't want to vacation here in July.
What multimeter did you pick up to replace the HF one?

I haven't yet, officially. I have an old Craftsman that I use for the mobile tool kit. I would like to have one for each of my car tool kits. I just haven't done i yet.

Their die grinders. They may use a lot of air, but i have a rule. If it lasts longer than a week it'll last forever, did have to return 3 in a row due to balance/regulator issues. But i have 6 so i can keep wire wheels and burr bits that i use frequently on them and they work fantastic for 10 bucks.

test light

merlin swivel fittings, have them on every tool at home/work. orings are standard orings and when they wear out you replace with a quality one and they last forever.

I use it daily at work the last six months. I drilled a couple holes and zip tied it to my hard hat. We start when it's still mostly dark out so getting the job boxes and area lights setup is a hassle without it

I need to pick up one of those. I hate standing on buckets to work inside my engine bay.

I bought the Braun rechargeable folding LED and I don't think I would pay $40. I got it the other day for $22 with a coupon from a flier. Didn't see the price online though. I modified mine by epoxying a magnet to the back side as I'm not a fan of the base mounted magnets.

I got this one from Home Depot that has a similar weight rating, folds up smaller, and doesn't flex under my ~250lb body. All that AND it was cheaper. The HF one I got made me uneasy, it flexed when I got on it. The Gorilla one seemed pretty good, we'll see as time goes on but at least initially I'm a big fan.

Sorry, I did not see the link right in your post...

That's fine, I should've made it stand out more.

I bought the plastic one, I mainly wanted something compact with a high working load rating, because if you figure I'm ~250lbs, me + a power tool + some material could easily be over the limit on some of the lesser stepstools with a similar footprint (pun intended).

The HF one made me uneasy because I could feel it flex, but that's not to say someone a little less fat couldn't use it just fine.

Counter to prevailing GJ wisdom, where you should think deeply about buying any HF tool that has a power cord, I picked up the 10" wet tile saw. The saw works cleanly and smoothly, but the 1st one had a bad submersible pump, that just hummed with no output. The fellas at the store wouldn't swap the pump, had to have the whole saw, which is what they got back. The new edition is 100% good to go, plenty of power with lots of noise to go with it, but will slice quickly through just about anything. I like the sliding table setup versus a sliding saw blade, and it cuts really nice bevels. Also minimal vibration. I DID NOT purchase an HF blade.....went with a KD product and do not regret it. Its a heavy but stable unit that meets the need to cut a wide range of tiles and bricks.

The Gorilla 300lb steel one or the 300lb plastic one?

I have the alumnium one that's ~$40. It's great. I like it because it's 36" or so long so I can move side to side the whole front end of my truck.

I'm 360, the aluminum one flexes and creaks, but has yet to let me down or dropped me lol.

I've got a 20 yo Rubbermaid two step stool I've been using for years. And at one time I was above 350lbs and it held me with no problem. My only issues that when I'm standing on it leaning over a fender or grill, it will slide. That's no fun! And just picking up a 1990 F-250, I'm going to need more! Thought about building a 3 piece "deck" out of pressure treated wood I could drop in place while working on it.
