Eastwood 9-Piece Screwdriver Set
Item #70232 Brand: Eastwood
Rated #1 in its class by Truckin' Magazine!

Bought them last year, for $20, due to the Truckin Mag review and I'm glad I did. Put my 50, Made in USA Craftman's to shame.

Took a pristine 40 year old #2 Phillips Craftsman and it cammed out. Used the Eastwood and it did the job with no slippage.

Obviously...

I agree with bonneyman---

Proto Professional Classic Yellow Handles!!!

It just doesn't get any better!!!

I'll third that, bought what Epsteins had and a few doubles, they may be old fashioned but they are great drivers, the other advantage is no one I work with has them so they don't go walkabouts much. I have some Wera, Wiha, Irazola, Belzer, Gedore, Stanley, Facom, CK and a few other randoms as well.

Hazet with hammer cap and hex. Only five pieces so I topped the set off with a #1 Hexanamic and a handful of Protos.

#1: PB Swiss - Very expensive now that Amazon has dropped them but they're great. They're more of a precision screwdriver then a screwdriver that you'd abuse.

#2: Proto Durateks - They are really nice. (especially the handles). Find the large set on Zoro Tools and use one of the coupons floating around.

#3: Williams hard handles - Same as SO but at a kindler/gentler price. These screwdrivers compliment PB Swiss. (ie use PB Swiss for precision and Williams for abuse/tough jobs).

#4: Wiha - Their small precision sets are real nice but I don't like the large ball shaped handles on their regular series. (I don't like the ball handle SK's for the same reason)

Felo Ergo's are also real nice. It's just hard to find them in a big set. I've only seen them in small 6 pc sets.

Buying screwdrivers is like buying shoes. You really need to try them on.

I have a full set of older hard handled snap on in yellow. I was at a friends shop and picked up the soft instinct handled and fell in love. So I bought a set. I also have a set of craftsman red and black professional. They are very good.
