Does anyone know if the festool router track adapter (fs-of1400) fits the dewalt dw625/trend t11 routers?

One of these:

I can get you the size (10mm I think) and spacing and height on the bars for the festool if you want. Should be easy enough to confirm if it will match the Dewalt assuming you have it already.

Being that it's a Festool part, offhand I would say no. I was in the same position several years ago. The Festool part, they actually call it a 'guide stop' for some reason, is actually a decent piece. I had my trusty Bosch router at the time and ended up making it work with some threaded block and a piece of aluminum. You can see by the pics, the holes would have been way off without the 'adapter' I made

That would be super helpful please!

The guide bars are 8mm (not 10mm as I incorrectly stated above).

Horizontal spacing on the bars is 79mm on center.
Height is 17mm on center. However, if you’re putting this on a festool guide rail, that will add another 3mm in height. So if your router base is flush with the surface you are routing, that’s 20mm on center.

I am running a Porter Cable router in a Bosch rail adapter on Bosch rails:

According to the Bosch manual, The FSN OFA rail adapter will accept certain DeWalt (and other) routers:

It is also claimed to run on Festool and Makita rails:

Good luck!

Thanks, I’ve seen a few references to that Bosch base, how do you get on with it?

Not a ton of use yet, but what I have done has been excellent. Mostly dadoes in ply which were super easy with the rail - some were 1½" wide, multiple pass deals.

I know rails don't 'need' to be clamped, and I'm OK with that for saw use. But with the router, clamps are a smart move as much for safety as for precision. The micro adjust works great too; especially if you're making multiple passes.

It's not a small tool, but it will accept a big router in addition to mid and compact sizes.

I like that Bosch solution better. A little hard to find in the US, but the OP is in the UK, so hopefully easy to get. The only drawback I can see is losing some plunge depth, but in most cases you’re creating dados with this thing so it should not be an issue. Some might consider it a nuisance to unscrew the baseplate and screw that on. Seems like a small price to pay.

The festool can also be used as a circle cutting jig. Replace the knob with an M6 bolt I think. Not often you need a micro adjust on a circle cutting jig, but I have come across that need once in a blue moon to sneak up on a cut.

The Bosch adapter does look interesting. It looks like it is one of those products not sold in the U.S. though. I did find a video that shows it being used on the Festool track:

Also, It looks like it can be purchased from Amazon in Germany and shipped to the U.S. IPrice is $58.14 with $26 shipping to S Cal for a total of $86.59 - cheapest price I have found so far

I bought mine from Axminster. It was a 5 star experience. I ordered it on February 15 and received it via DHL on February 19.

Even though shipping was a flat $20, your Amazon Germany price looks better all in...

This is what I get for looking up that Bosch adapter on Amazon :)

Now they are sending me emails - I can buy one for only $186! (actually, I did buy one from the German Amazon site, it should be here in a couple of weeks)
