Very interesting pre-fab unit. How thick is the floor that it can support a vehicle?

Who did you hire to do the pad installation?

And how think was the stone pad?

A local landscaping company did the pad. Sandys landscaping

We did 12” of sand and then about another 12” of stone each one was compacted separate.

The floor itself is a 3/4 treated plywood system . Bug and moisture resistant. The floor joists are run every 12” for extra support and they are treated 4x6’s.

Nice build. Thank you for sharing. How is it working out for you?

Thanks! It’s great so far. I was hoping to have the other side finished up this spring but with the virus ****, I don’t have anyone to help with the ceiling so it’s on hold. No big deal, I’ve been super busy with license plate orders anyway.

FWIW, if you get antsy and want to tackle the ceiling, I sheeted my garage ceiling with OSB all by myself using this drywall lift.

Northern Tool has the best pricing that I've found. IIRC, I caught it on sale for $129 and was also able to use a $20 off coupon. Sold it for $100 within a day of posting it on Marketplace - basically I rented it for a couple months for $20.

Colt... I just ordered a 14x40 she’d also. Going to have a very similar setup. Any suggestions or things you would have done differently? Especially with size of each space and where you put the dividing wall?

Did you use any insulation in the roof, is it the same as the walls? Nice work with the plates BTW!
