Finally ready for blast cabinet. Suggestions needed

I now need to somehow combine it with vacuum I got from TP tools($300!!! ). Maybe put cyclone on top of it? I do get lot of media collected on a bottom and no dust out. But filter is getting clogged badly

Set up the cyclone between the cabinet and vacuum, similar to how mine is set up. The idea is to separate the dust from the vacuum stream prior to it making it to the vacuum. If you're just cycloning the dust into the vacuum it's still going to clog the filter.

Understood. I was just thinking if I can put bucket on top of my vacuum. So it will be more compact. They will be separate but vacuum will be below.

When ever my media seems to not want to flow down to the pickup I have found that most of the time the media is spent, broken down to a fine powder. It's worth checking out before buying a ********.

Yes that's true. I have a home built custom large blast box. It does not have enough slope in the bottom to keep the beads a rollin'. My fault for building it that way. I have the TP one but it's weak beans.
Yes the final filter bag was after the vacuum and was suppose to catch the small amount coming out of the vacuum. But I still got fine dust everywhere.

I did my Dust Deputy set up like everyone above. I don't run the filter bag anymore and duct it outside. Only way to do it I think?

Yes the ******** from TP tools does not work very well. Just not enough vibration. You can get just about any strength ******** on EBay. About $100 or so and that will keep your media flowing properly. Note I have 120V on my box but not 12 VDC so easier for me to use a 120 VAC model.

Most the dust from my 960 came from the vent at the back of the cabinet. I stuck a piece of foam (sprayed with air filter oil) in there & that put an end to that. I used another piece of hose connected to the outlet on the vac & ran it out the shop door.

If you have stuff coming out that inlet port you don't have enough suction inside the box. You can see in the picture I have the Vac-50 from TP Tools. When the vacuum is running you should have negative suction and only be bringing in fresh air to the box. I have no restriction on the inlet on purpose.

How can you see if you have dust blowing out the inlet port?? I fought this for a while and finally stumbled upon a used Vac-50 and now my box is very clear inside when in use. I run excessive air pressure (90-125 psi) on purpose so I pulverize the glass beads and that gets removed with my vacuum system. Nothing comes out the inlet port.

It all depends on what surface finish and how much you need to remove from the surface. Glass beads give me a smoother more finished appearance. Crushed glass is faster and leaves more tooth in the surface. Both are consumed in the blasting process so that's why I mainly get powder or flour in my dust deputy.
