Understood. I was just thinking if I can put bucket on top of my vacuum. So it will be more compact. They will be separate but vacuum will be below.Set up the cyclone between the cabinet and vacuum, similar to how mine is set up. The idea is to separate the dust from the vacuum stream prior to it making it to the vacuum. If you're just cycloning the dust into the vacuum it's still going to clog the filter.

Most the dust from my 960 came from the vent at the back of the cabinet. I stuck a piece of foam (sprayed with air filter oil) in there & that put an end to that. I used another piece of hose connected to the outlet on the vac & ran it out the shop door.Yes the ******** from TP tools does not work very well. Just not enough vibration. You can get just about any strength ******** on EBay. About $100 or so and that will keep your media flowing properly. Note I have 120V on my box but not 12 VDC so easier for me to use a 120 VAC model.
