I am speechless. Very nice job!!! From some of the last pictures, I'm guessing you passed the inspection and then painted the vent pipe? That solution works well as I actually had to look for it to notice it.

Thank you. Yes, we had the painter get some high-heat paint and there you have it!

Impressive, all around. Congratulations- not exactly what I was expecting when I saw "finally starting my garage build" but it sure turned out well.

First, great thread. I spent the last 30 min looking over the build. I really like the side sliding doors for storage. Where those site built or something ordered? Didn't see any mention on that. Any more pics of the track system or doors? I assume they slide/collapse back to back to access more than one area. Thanks again for the post.

The doors were custom ordered to fit and installed/assembled on site. There are 5 doors on each side. The track is three rails deep so you can move any door to any end. The doors can all be pushed to either side making the opening three bays wide. Does that make sense?

Makes sense. Any more info on the company who made the doors? Did the door company also supply the track system? Have always wanted to do something similar in my garage. My issue is one of the walls I would like to track has a window. Wish I hadn't done that. Thanks again for the info.

Got some great news from Jeff over at BENDPAK today. Seems that one of my garages made the first page of their "AWESOME GARAGES" site.

Check it out! Click on the "PLAY" button to see the video.

You truly have an extraordinarily creative spirit. Great job with the garage and the different styles in all the rooms of the home was very interesting to see.

Looks like those are driver on the right side...are they imports from Germany?

Someone had asked me if I could fit two cars in the new garage. I tried it today. No problem...The fish-eye lens on the overhead camera makes it looked more cramped than it really is.

As a minivan driving guy from the country it's like looking at a house/garage from a whole different planet, I think I was briefly struck dumb by a nasty case of cognitive dissonance...I could not reconcile "garage project" with what you have done. All said,it is absolutely cool and shows great creativity and more importantly an excellence in the execution of that creativity, which I greatly admire.
