After buying this a few years ago it sat in the garage, never using it. I think I tried it once and didn't like it so it sat ignored like a red headed step child.
Well, the other day I had to tear down some sheets of plywood for a project and my DIY track was not cutting it so I tried the Kreg jig instead and it worked beautifully. Repetitive measurement cuts were easy and all the same size, which my tape measure and DIY track didn't do (granted I was doing this in the rain under a canopy).
The key to this is really securing the saw, I used some Gorilla tape also to hold the saw to the jig also.
