I'm firing the Low Voltage Contractor.
Just not sure how much he walks away with
Typical Run is let's say $125 for a Cat6 drop
The electrician has pulled all the runs at $75 per drop - whether it's 10 feet or 100 feet.
The LV contactors was responsible for the latter *terminations, labeling, etc*.
We talking about 150 drops. All or 85% of which he has already toned out and labeled. And this was not even in the contract - as the original contract we had with him was for 28 drops. He decided to *move ahead* on his own accord and tone all the cables on the site.
What's a fair rate would you say for toning out each cable. Do I be a d1k and pay for 28 cables ----as there was much more cables on site that he has done on his own accord.
