Drove over to Sears this morning to pick up my three Gladiator gearboxes. They barely fit into my wife's little Ford Escape. I had to lay the seats down and pull the front seats all the way to the dash. Not a great way to drive, but it was a short trip and I was soon home.
Unpacking them was pretty easy. I checked them all for scratches and dents but found nothing. They're solidly built and I like the full front magnets that run along the top and bottom to hold the doors.
Now that I had everything put together, it was time to turn my attention back to the wall. I'd previously finished the top of the wall and laid the paint.
I laid the paint tape and threw on the red stripe. Once the first coat of red was on, I began measuring out and then mounting the Gladiator Gear Track. The studs on that wall are definitely not to code so that made it a bit of a challenge. Fortunately, I've got a pretty good stud finder.
And here we are with the second coat of red on the wall. The Gear Track is installed. Now to turn my attention back to the gearboxes...
First box is up. Pretty easy process.
Box Two is fully installed.

That's all I got done today. Pretty soon, I'm really going to need to turn my attention back to working on my truck.
