A few months back I got a Western Auto 3 drawer toolbox at an auction and it was kind of rough so I decided to repaint it. The drawers were easy to find paint for since they were about the same shade as Craftsman red, but the box it self was dark greyish color that I wasn't able to find so I went with black. I painted most of it with Rust-Oleum black, but I ran out so I grabbed some Walmart black thinking black is black, I was very wrong. So l went to Lowe's and I picked up a shade of brown called dark walnut and I like it better than the black. It still has dents in it but I'm not very experienced at fixing dents and I thought I would make it worse. The chrome pieces were very rusty so I painted over them. I'm missing the bottom drawer pull too. I still like how it turned out I plan to use it anyway so a few dents aren't a big deal.

Since the pics make the brown look black the third pic is a close up of the paint.
