I found this old torque wrench at an indoor flea market a couple of weeks ago. The guy wanted 50 bucks, but took 40. Did I do alright?
What's the range on it?
I don't know if it was the adorable 4 year old ******* my shoulders or if it was just getting late in the day and the guy needed to take home the cash, but it was just too cheap to pass by.
After I bought it I mentioned to the seller that it was a nice torque wrench and was well worth sending out for calibration. He responded that he had his Snap-on dealer check it in the last 8 months and had hardly used it since. He had my money at that point so there was no reason to lie about it. It appears to work well, and seems to match the torque wrench I checked it against.

since no one has said it yet....
YOU ****!![]()

i think this is the only place on the internet where i can safely say
I wish i sucked as hard as you

The fact that it was just calibrated; makes it totally usable and is one of the problems I have with purchasing a used torque wrench. I always figure I am going to have to spend $50-$75 to have it gone through, calibrated and that may not even cover shipping to/from the calibration company!I have yet to buy a used torque wrench; I have to buy it cheap for me to be willing to ship it out for repair/calibration, services! Do you guys think a torque wrench is one of those things, best bought new unless like the above situation; dirt cheap and just calibrated?
Hey, what indoor flea market do you go to?![]()
Ok, yeah, I am going there. Hope it's not a bad part of town, but the guy seems cool.
