I've got one fs on here.
I got you guys beat. I got my fll80 today, and got the tl72 for FREE!
All you suckas paying a whole penny! Ha!
Any updates? Are the FLL80's still hard to come by?
Is the buy a FLL80 get a TL72 still offered?
There are still none available in my area of NY
Eric
That's a bit of a leap...
I bent one Tll72 already. I knew it was going to happen and I have already had it warrantied. These ratchets do give more torque but they aren't a replacement for 3/8 drive or a breaker bar. In all fairness it really shouldn't have been warrantied. I didn't use a cheater but I gave it everything I had on a 3/8 bolt rusted holding a mudflap on in a tight area. Nice ratchet though and I have a new respect for it now. It can take a lot just not everything.
got mine last week
Did you get it from the SO truck or an Ebay auction?
There were a bunch of them on the Snap On truck today. He was offering $40 off to trade in any ratchet. He said he would even give $40 off for a cheap no name 1/4 ratchet. Looks like he had a bunch of them to move.
I was thinking about buying the FLL80 on the truck last week, but the snap-on guy said that the flex head version is coming soon so I held off.
This is why I didn't buy one today. Hoping for the flex head.

Knowing SO it will be another floppy open flex...
I love SO Dual 80's but the flexes just ****.![]()

Same here. I like my Armstrong locking flex much better than my FLF80 and dislike the locking design on the FX80.
I haven't gotten mine yet, did they make the shaft bigger to compensate for the extra length? Similar to the tll72?
The handle diameter is the same as all the other 80 tooth ratchets
Broke my first socket with the FLL80 this weekend. 10mm semi deep Matco impact socket. Used it to hold the ball joint from spinning on my F150 while I loosened the rusty ball joint nut. Oops.

Sold 3 FLL80's and finally getting my own Friday.
Hopefully ill have mine tomorrow, I was just curious because they made the handle thicker on the tll72 versus the tl72.
